PADI Mermaid Experience

Experience what it's like to be a mermaid and the magical feeling of swimming through the water.

What will you learn?

● Basic theoretical knowledge of mermaid diving

● How to put on and take off a mermaid tail

● Basic breath-hold techniques and methods

● Effortless breathing on your back and floating on the water surface with your mermaid tail

The PADI Mermaid Course includes two phases:

★ Knowledge Development:

Learn the necessary knowledge for mermaid diving through theoretical lessons.

★ Confined Water Session 1:

1. Warm-up and stretching before entering the water;
2. Preparation, donning, doffing, and maintenance of equipment;
3. Entering and exiting the water;
4. Weight adjustment;
5. Dolphin kick;
6. Safety skills (2-minute float/tread water with full mermaid gear; cramp release);
7. Mermaid diving skill practice, etc.

★ Confined Water Session 2:

1. Warm-up and stretching before entering the water;
2. Preparation, donning, doffing, and maintenance of equipment;
3. Entering and exiting the water; weight adjustment;
4. Safety skills - emergency mermaid tail removal;
5. Dynamic horizontal swimming using three techniques;
6. Mermaid breath-hold descent;
7. New mermaid diving skills (360° backward flip, underwater hand-holding in team formations, mermaid bubbles, backward surface swimming) practice, etc.
